hi!! thanks for your comment ! It's always nice to get to know people from the same country~ I asked myself the same question when i started doing these deco stuff, where do i get the supplies ==! I use air dry clay. I first began using Crayola model magic when i first saw it in Spotlight, and then i went off to buy some Japanese clay online. If you can go to Queen Street, there's a Japan shop that sells cheap paper clay, but paper clay is not as durable as polymer, and you could get polymer clay from Spotlight and Gorden Harris. Hope this is helpful~
Thanks for the quick reply on a Saturday evening! hehe ^^
Funny thing is, I actually work in a craft(like) shop! We used to sell Polymer, but my boss stopped stocking it before I discovered what it was! She said that it wasn't a very good seller in her opinion. Boo... maybe I'll try and convince her to start stocking it again. I'm from Auckland actually, so I'm really familiar with the interesting little Japanese stores on Queen Street! Did you see that there was a new one that opened in downtown? It's very similar to $3.00 Japan. I'll have to check it out the next time I'm there, I'll keep you posted on what I find! Otherwise I'll just go to Gordon Harris. People are always giving me vouchers from there because I'm a poor design student XD
And thanks, I made my icon myself *shamelessly proud* XD
haha, where do you work?? The paper clay i am talking about is from the new Jap shop, i was very disappointed that the old jap shop didnt have clay, so i had to buy it to try it out from the new shop. I love these shops, it has so much cute stuff and i wish they have more craft stuff in there. I study architecture at AU so Gorden Harris is like the main supplier for me.. envy you for the vouchers! I am actually doing work right now... >_<.. the whole project is due on friday. Late sleep for the whole week aiiii
